Hello all my 2002 xlt has a very annoying squeak in the front end on the drivers side it only does it on speed bumps or anytime the front end bounces up and down. I can get out and bounce on the front end and make it squeak but can not pin point it. Any ideas? Thank you

I'm almost sure its coming from the suspension i just don't know where. What if anything could i spray down in or around there to try to make it stop?

Have some one else jump up and down on the vehicle while you lay flat on the ground and pint-point it.

Yeah you can spray some lubricant but it would probably be wiser if you found out what exactly is squeeking first, in case it needs to be replaced.

I'm having the same front-end squeek-creeky sound when going over bumps. I haven't had time to check it out yet (I've only had the truck for two days). I'm thinking maybe the control arm bushings, or ball joints  Let us know if you find out what it is.

Sway bar bushings....very common. Happened to me last year. Grease them and it will go away.

please excuse my lack of mechanical knowledge but can i do this without taking half the front end apart or is there some grease fittings. Thanks

I'm having the same problem and my dealer wants to replace the bushings. Is there a grease zerk on the sway bar? If not, how do you best grease these? I asked the dealer if they could be greased and they said no...now i'm thinking they are lying to me!

Yeah i have the same issue, need a little advice on this???

Someone on a thread that I posted about this said that they were replaced by the dealer... I would assume that they're worn, since mine started randomly when I was hauling a lot of **** in the X.
