2015 Explorer XLT

I have a similar creaking/squeaking issue with my 2015 XLT. The shocks and sway bar links were original with 130,000 miles. I changed them out and sprayed silicone (per Scotty Kilmore) on all the rubber bushings. I've used the silicone spray method on other vehicles with varying results. The creaking/squeaking is less noticeable, but still there. With so many rubber bushings in the suspension, how does a person track it down, while avoiding just 'firing the parts canon at it' as Eric O would say? TIA.

I would say the squeaking comes from a end-link bushing. They get dry and in conjunction with water
it could squeak like yours. Silicone spray will not help every time, so bolts has to come out for a inspection and greasing.
Swaybar bushings same procedure, sometimes shocks squeaking.
Maybe you can feel the squeaking while touching the bushing and someone press the rear down.

Use a mechanic's stethoscope to locate. Cheap at Harbor Freight.
