well i know there are threads out there about stopping it, but i was wondering if the brake pad had to be removed to use the Stop Squeek spray.

i heard it could be because grease got on the brakes/rotors, but i dont want to go through the hassle of taking off the brakes again.

anyone know of how to fix this without removing the pads?

I believe you just spray it on, but i've never used it. If your pads are new, then you need to lube the slide rails on the calipers so they don't squeek. If they are old, then they probably need replacing.

The stop squeek stuff is just a bandaid.

well it never squeeked till i replace the pads and rotors.

bought some stop squeek crap and applied it, i wont find out if it worked for a long time. also used some rotor cleaner (stuff was strong smelling and took some stuff off the rotors).

but its not like i will be driving the X soon because of its lack of music and the fact that im putting my sub box project in there for storage for now

come monday i will do it again but remove the rims to clean them(and clean the rims while im at it)
