stalled twice in a row

Lately my battery gauge(yes i know its a dumby gauge) has been sitting pretty low and I can feel the car struggle when I first excelerate then its ok but the gauge still sits low. Tonight I went out to dinner and as I was coming out of the parking lot it was low, I didnt have the a/c on yet, just the radio and it stummbled and stalled, restarted did the same thing, then did it again with some gas to bring up the idle and it went and didnt stall again.

Do you guys think its the battery or the alt? Im thinking the battery just isnt taking as much of the charge as it used to if that makes any sense? anyhelp would be greatly apreciated, Thanks Jon

Do you have a voltmeter?
Battery engine off should read 12.5 v or higher
engine running 14v (charging)

I will be checking this this after noon I hope its the battery and not the alt because the alt is only like 2 years old.

So I checked it this afternoon I got 12.3 with the truck off and 14.5 while its running, but there still seems to be some draw on the electrical system even with stereo and a/c off.
