I have been noticing once in a while that the truck is stalling when I have it in drive and then I stop and throw it into reverse quickly and give it a fast shot of gas. Almost like a hurried parking job.

It only does this once in a while.

Could anybody help me diagnose the problem as I am sure it affects other things I am not aware of.

I have recently changed:

All 6 fuel injectors
Fuel Filter
PCV Valve
All spark plugs
Spark plug wires
Air Filter
Cleaned Throttle Body
Cleaned Maf sensor
Cleaned IAC

Just don't shift as fast ;) You're probably stressing some tranny part and it's freaking out.

I thought somebody might say that, but I am so important I am always in a hurry :)

I really think it is something outside of this though, not a huge deal as it happens VERY infrequently, but thought maybe others experienced this problem.

It takes a second or so for the gear to engage, especially if it's cold out. If you force it, you are putting unneccessary stress on an already weak transmission.

wait till you feel it engage and then stomp on it. then its not as bad. or at least thats how i justify it...
