Stand alone harness

Been thinking about a 5.0 w/AOD swap into my ST. The only thing/difference is I found a stand alone harness from latemodelrestoration(.)com. Seems much easier, clean, smooth & simple. Any thoughts/input/opinions?

You could use a aftermarket harness, or just use the harness form donor Explorer and repin a few wires here and there.

I worry about repining a harness. Only because I tried it b4 once on my motorcycle it went well then I did it on 2 other bikes and it caused issues, not sure if it was my doing because I used the same video and copied mine exactly. Just left a bad taste in my mouth.

It's really not that difficult if you have the wiring diagrams for both vehicles, a few guys have successfully swapped a 5.0 into their Trac using the donor harness.
