Hi All, Two question's Just got home with a 94 explorer 4.0, 150, plus miles it sat for a while when I go to start it ,it takes a bit of cranking starts run's for a min. stalls start it again after running for a couple min's with my foot on the gas it will idle good an run smooth. [It sat for 6 months with a dead batt]. Next ques. it has warn manuel hubs I pulled the stock cast rim an the locking hub assembly came off with the rim? It has a oring that seals it with the rim bolted on an works it will go on only one way, is this right? Any help or input would be great. THANKS; Little john:help:

No idea on your warm up idle issue but yes it's normal for the hubs to come off when you pull the wheel.

If it sat for 6 months it probably needs a fuel system change. After forcing it to idle for a few minutes you have increased the temperature of the engine, and it's going to run a lot smoother as it warms up. throw some fuel injector cleaner thru it and use the tank of gas and see what it does. Replace the battary if you havn't already.
