Start up rattle?

Well I'll be damn'd! My 04 4.6 explorer started with a raddle for like 10 seconds during a cold start... guessing this is the timing chain hitting the guids? Can it stay like that or will it get worse, how long would it take before it fails? Thanks guys! Oh forgot to mention it has 122k on the clock.

theres 1000 posts about chain rattle , just do a search , before i got to your post I read about 2 others just 5 minutes ago
