Starting problem - SOHC

I have always been able to turn the key and she fires immediately. However, in the last few days, I have to turn the key to start and it turns over for 3-5 seconds then starts “roughly”. Yet, once running, she runs fine at idle at any speed and at WOT.

Any ideas or suggestions?

The problem has nothing to do with the starter, it works fine, The motor turns over fine, just doesn't run.

How many miles do you have now Al....

The motor turns over but doesn't fire right? If you can hear the fuel pump turning on, I would definately check for a clogged fuel filter first. Cheap to replace even if it's not your problem.
