Starting problem.

Hi all just joined the site. I Bought a 92 XL A couple of weeks ago and it has trouble starting when it gets warmed up. When I start it in the morning it fires right off. Once it reaches operating temp. And I shut it off I either have to cycle the key 3 times or just give it a quick pump on the gas pedal. then it stinks like gas.

I'm thinking fuel pressure regulator. Has anyone else had this problem? sure could use the help.

yup either the fuel pressue regulator or the check valve in the fuel pump. i would also look into the fuel filter first
