Anyone has the steeda performance brake pads? or how about the explorer express ones? I need new brake pads and I was wondering if its worth getting the "performance" ones. I mean is it really worth that money?

If you have an Autozone near you, go there and get the Performance Friction pads. They are about $30.00 for a set (4 pads). They are carbon-metallic and have a lifetime warranty. I have not had a problem with them ever. I am heavy on the breaks (cause of the lead foot) and they have not failed me yet. Also, when you need new ones you just take the old ones in and they give you new ones. I've done this three times now, so the longer I own the vehicle, the less I have paid for pads, as I really don't have to pay for them anymore.

Just my two cents, as I don't know what type of pad the Steeda or Explorer Express pads are. You will probably be paying a premium for the name there.
