Hey all...

Just joined and having a few problems with the vehicle...

Just noticed that the steering wheel is starting to come loose from the column...you just grab the wheel and you can move it towards the dash in all directions (kinda feels like the center of the wheel is on a small pivot) about a 1/2"...

2nd prob...when you start the vehicle (ours has the auto seats, so they move when the key goes in the ignition...memory) the seats move up to correct spot...you can bump the key out slightly and the dome light goes on and seats start to move back...not too bad siting still but going around a curve is another story...

Just hoping someone can help...dont feel like getn raped again by the stealership...

Thanks in advance,
Owen25

Really...no one???

I know someone has to have some insight on these vehicles....

Nobody may have had those problems.

If it were me, those are both huge safety issues. I would take it to the dealership. If it's a 2007, you should be under warranty 5yr/60,000 miles, no?

Well just got it back...somehow the nut came loose holding the steering wheel on and ended up messin it up....also had the trans reflashed (shifting issues) hopefully fixes it...still tryn to figure out how the wheel came loose...gota love ford build quality

Well problem #2 is fixed...needed to change out the ignition switch...was causing the power seats to go back when driving...waitn on prob #3 to get fixed now...stupid airbag light was stuck on...sheesh

Well....something bout a liquid filled switch on the passenger side that might hav e froze with the weaher...crossin my fingers to see if this the last of the probs for a while
