steering wheel emblem

my emblem on the airbag in my 06 explorer is chipped and falling apart

it really brings down the look of the interior. does anybody know if i can replace the emblem without replacing the entire airbag?

Well It got the best of me today and I pried it off. I got an adhesive emblem from ebay that will hopefully be the right size.

Anybody out there? The one I ordered wasn't the right size. I find it hard to believe I have to replace my airbag to solve this issue.

you can look for an emblem overlay as a cheap solution. its not an actual replacement emblem, but more like a really high quality, rigid sticker. i cant remember the sight i got mine from, but im sure if you google "emblem overlays" you can find some credible sites. i want to say the one i got mine from is called webxxtreme.com or something like that and mine fit perfect. good luck.
