Hey guys im running a 22 inch wheel on my 2000 xls. My tire size is 235/40r22. Thats the same width as my stock tire. I want to upgrade my steering to accomidate my newer heavier tire. My dad is worried that when i hit a puddle my truck is gonna pull harder than stock. I have been looking for a steering stabalizer but i cant find any, please direct me in the right direction.

i believe rancho makes steering stablizers, you want want to check them out

i looked into Rancho and i cant find anything for my 2000 explorer just 91-94

You won't find any cause you dont have a solid front axle or that type of steering design (you have a rack and pinion). The only problem you'll have with bigger tires/wheels is stopping distance. Steering should not be effected unless there is a problem already there. When you hit a bump and your steering goes crazy - thats called Bump Steer. That is a caster issue - that means you need an alignment. Hope that helps
