Yup - searched - came up dry. :(

I have the stock pioneer 6 disc changer. I see there is some sort of tool or key that is used to remove the stereo - can I just use a coat hanger or something...or do I have to buy this DIN tool?

Coat hanger will work but the DIN tools have a notch that allows you to pull the unit out.
They are cheap at Wally World

The DIN tool, as I remember, is really pretty cheap.
O'Reilly Auto Parts lists a 'Metra' part at $6.99 (for the pair - one per side).
I think I paid about $5 somewhere locally.

Or, certainly, you can use a couple of pieces of clothes hanger wire, although you'll have to wiggle a bit, since the little beveled notches are cut into the 'Metra' tool.

Try Amazon.com, Frys.com, or an auto parts store. Search 'DIN Tool' or 'Metra DIN Tool'. Although I bet a local auto parts shop will have 'em for cheap.

Thanks guys - I'll pick one up tonight.

Ir just pull the 2 7mm bolts above the HVAC controls, pop the bezel forward, and push the radio clips loose from behind the bezel by hand, and spend the $4 on a couple of beers. :)

MMMMMmmmm Beer. :) I was planning on checking it out first.

Exactly...no special tools needed.
