Here is my problem. I have an '00 E/B with a V8. I noticed about a year ago that when I used the cruise control and disengaged the cruise control, either by braking or turning off the cruise with the Off switch that the throttle/gas pedal felt like it was hanging up when I went to accelerate again either rolling or from a stop.
I cleaned the throttle body with carb cleaner including the spring and it seemed to help a little. But it seems intermittent. Sometimes it kinda hangs up when trying to accelerate from a stop or a roll (including on the freeway). Not always but I notice it alot and it drives me crazy.
I've thought about the cable maybe sticking but since I cleaned the throttle body and it helped I leaning towards the throttle body being the culprit. I'm going to clean it again tomorrow.
Anyone got a solution or had this problem before?

edit: I should also add that the sticking is not only after I use the cruise control thats when I first noticed the problem is after using cruise.
