What the heck are those? I know that '95+ don't have coils and neither do the '98+ rangers. What the heck are they selling? Is it a kit to put coils on them?

ya thats why i was askin you guys

That's not totally true. Most of the 2wd Rangers are Coil Fronts. My 2k 2wd Ranger was front coil. The only Rangers that are not coil up front in the '97+ Styles are the 4wd and the "Edge" packaged rangers. At least to my last knowledge.

yeah cali'explorer is right, the regular XLT rangers still have coils. but there are no IFS explorers with coils

ok, but i like coils better than torsion bars so i will probubly make somthin for coild or an eb axle swap

ok then you will have to make a hoop (or engine cage with hoop) to hold that coil in there, which costs $$

2wd Rangers had coils, Explorer's never did.
Dont be surprised when part suppliers are wrong, they often assume the explorer is the same as the ranger, etc..

Dont say EB axle swap, the EB is an early bronco, not all solid axle conversions are using a early bronco axle. Also when you go to a solid axle you cannot retain the torsion bars, torsion bars only work with a arms so you have to do something! Either leafs, coils, coilovers, air bags, or air shocks. :)

There are A arm kits on the market for the 2wd trucks that will replace the torsion bars with steel coils (not just ocilovers)

Its even worst when people refer to the Eddie Bauer as an "EB" :D

I have EB axles :) early bauer, easily broken, excessively bouncy, extra bouyant, eddie bronco axles :)
