I used to have a 2004 with a Kenwood deck and Focal speakers. Components in the front and regular speakers in the back. I took it out before I traded it in. I don't mind the stock stereo in the new truck (2009) But when I turn it up a bit it can start to distort at times. Would it be an improvement? Would they even fit?

Now to figure out how my phone works with the stereo so I can just talk and drive. lol

They'll work as long as they fit.
Door speakers are 6x8s.

You'll just have to cut and crimp speaker connectors onto the factory harnesses.

I just upgraded my 10 STA audio and head unit. I planned only to change front speakers, rear speakers and add a sub. But with the factory head unit I was losing a lot of signal strength and ended up just updating the deck. Sounds amazing now, I don't regret doing it at all.

Yup, stock decks really don't sound as good as they could.
Most Ford headunits kill off the bass after 3/4 volume.
