Stock Headlights are CRUD

High beams are alright, but low beams... I think I could do better with a Mag-Lite.

Anyone replace just the bulb and get good results? Maybe the pigtail, too.
Looking for under $100, but I will consider all options.

Are your plastic headlight assemblies (covers) still clear? Or yellow and weathered?

Clear. In fact I just polished them a few months ago...

I polished mine, and thought they were very clear. So I thought problem was in wiring or just poor OEM equipment.

But after replacement of the assemblies (after a deer strike), it was amazing how much better the lighting was. The parts are cheap on e-bay....
