Stock Radio Light Problem, Help???

All the lights on my stock Radio when out except for the station and clock LEDs. I got a replacement from eBay that was listed as fully working. I plugged it in and no lights...but later on when driving over some bumps all the lights came twice but only briefly. After banging on the radio the lights came on once again, briefly, and will not light up any longer.

I was told the problem was with a fuse in the radio...is this true or could it be something external?

It's a connection in the radio that has a poor soldering job. It's a common problem and a pretty simple fix if you have a soldering iron and some screwdrivers...

It's not the display, it lights up fine. It’s all the buttons, they are all out???

Just opened it up, checked all the solder points and can't find any problems.

clean the harness metal points/slots before reattaching...
