Will 2015 Explorer Sport 20" wheels fit my 2000 Explorer?

They might *fit* but the offset is unlikely to be correct.

It is doable to fit the 2015 wheels on your 2001 Ex. but not without a special custom made spacer. I have 2016 Ex. 18" wheels on my 2003 Sport and brought my spacers at Motorsport Tech. They were not cheap to buy, but worth the price.

Ok so here's my solution for the rim problem. I found rims for a 2014 explorer off craigslist for $60 set. They were 44mm offset. Unfortunately, my 2002 sport has 12mm offset. To make matters worse the center bore for 2014 is 63.4mm and for 2002 is 70.6 Having never liked how narrow the sport sits I went for some hub-centric spacers. Finding the right bore was a problem.

The problem was the difference in offset, about 32mm or 1.25 inches. On the back I went for a full 2 inch spacer to sit the tire out a little farther. So I bored out the back of the spacer to 70.6mm and turned the collar to 63.4mm.

The tires are Toyo Proxes T1 Sport 255/60/18 and fit with plenty of room to spare

Sorry guys typo, I have a 2003 Explorer...just want to know if the 20" wheels from a 2015 sport will fit my truck. Thanks for all your help!

^ No, the center bore of the '15 wheels is still too small.

Rims from a 2002 through 2010 would fit. Same offset, bolt pattern and center bore.

What is the offset for these wheels? Been looking at aftermarket wheels myself but not exactly sure on the offset on stock wheels. The set I have is the 16"

I put 20" rims on mine years ago....not Ford but after market. I purposely went with -15 offset because I like the look better. I'm just posting to comment on offset and not Ford wheels per se.
