Stock XLT '08 phone in radio?

Realized my radio has a phone icon. Is there any way to link my cell to it?

Been looking into this myself. So far it looks like its cheaper to buy an aftermarket double din deck with blutooth and a mic, and a sirius universal module. Bestbuy.ca has a jvc on for 199, and the sirius universal will run you around 80 beans up here. Probably can do it a lot cheaper in the US.

i thought you could add Sync? If there is a unused plug in the back of the radio?
Module is about $100 used, you might have to do some research to see what needs to be added. I have sync and its nice.
