lol i have a 98 explorer sport and i never thought i would like an SUV but i love this thing i will always have an explorer from now on it has loads of power runs great and has stuff i didnt think an explorer would have like rear radio control and rear climate i am amazed this truck has made me love ford and ill never go back

I'm back and have edited out the "don't buy an Explorer" statement. My friend in Ford Accounting spoke with a Ford Engineer. He was told the early problems were the fault of Microsoft who created much of the software for the Sync system. Microsoft evidently had green lighted a faulty Sync system. The battery issues would be another screw up by a supplier of course. I didn't know about the free roadside assistance that comes with the vehicle. I really don't believe the Mechanic's in the service department know of this service. That would explain why we were instructed to take care of the towing.
