I just recently finished installing moog upper and lower ball joints with moog camber kit on my 98 explorer(driver and passenger). In addition to this i replaced both wheel hubs with timken hubs since they were making a rumbling noise. I took it for a test drive and for the first 10 minutes everything was good then all of the sudden i started hearing a strange noise. It's like a whooping/whooshing noise....the best i can describe it is like a whoop whoop whoop whoop, (very audible) it stays pretty constant no matter if its under load or not. I jacked the car up and checked for any play in the wheels, there wasn't any, double checked that all bolts were tight and they were plus i made sure the joints were greased....What could be the cause of this noise?....Is a warped rotor a possibility?

Tried to diagnose the problem...It seems to be coming from the drivers side, the frequency of the sound increases when the speed of the vehicle increases and decreases when I slow down. The sound disappears when i hit the brakes and when i turn to the right....I'm leaning towards it being a warped rotor

What tire are you running? Sounds like tread noise.

Bridgestone dueler a/t's but i don't think thats the problem since for the first 10 minutes of the test drive the noise wasn't there. Then the sound started off barely audible until it reached its current state
