strange sudden rattling/whining from tranny

02 explorer, too it to my local ford dealer and they claimed they couldnt find anything... but it still rattles and whines when its in D only... they said my computer was programmed for 16 inch rims and the car ddidnt like my 22s and so they reprogrammed it, but its still making these strange noises...???

Is it the transmission when it is changing gears???

Mine makes a slight noise when accelerating slowly and changing gears... especially from 2nd to 3rd gear. If I accelerate hard, the noise doesn't occur.
