Struts question

I have an 04 base model X and I want to give it a little bit of a level before I put on the BTF spacer lift. From my understanding the XLT and XLS are the same suspension systems.. Could I swap out the struts and springs from a 3rd gen XLT and put them on my X?

If not i'm just getting some damn quick lifts and being done with the damn thing already

AFAIK, Yes, the are the same BUT, I'm no 3rd gen expert.

I'd go to rockauto and look up part #'s for both versions of the X and see if they match.

The struts are completely interchangeable between all trim package. Everything else is interchangeable between trim packages as well.
