Brake pedal goes real close to floor before brakes start working. When at a full stop with pedal pressed it does not slowly sink to the floor which makes me think it isn't the master cylinder. Could it be a stuck caliper? Brakes do not pull the truck when I hit the brakes. I bled the fronts this weekend to see if that would help. Although it didn't I'm glad I did, the fluid was the color of Coca-Cola - not good! Anyone have an idea what might fix my mushy brake pedal?

For starters I hope you bled the rear first starting at the passenger rear. If you have ABS you may end up having to have the dealership bleed your ABS since you can't do it yorself.

I had similar problem and it was the flexible rubber brake line in the rear.

I never heard of that...huh...well, I bled just the front calipers and it didn't make my pedal travel problem and better or any worse. Thanks though...

Doesn't sound like stuck caliper or master cylinder to me.

To me it sounds like rear brakes are out of adjustment.

First, bleed the rear brakes, then adjust the rear brakes (to the point where they barely drag.. you will hear them drag if you spin the tire.
