stuck in 4X4 low

i just got my truck yesterday and i think i might of broke it today. It has the electronic push button type 4x4 with automatic hubs. The 4X4 and Low Range worked, engaged and disengaged properly the first couple of times i checked them out but today i went driving after class and tryed to find "da dam dam" which is an abandoned partialy built dam somewhere about 30 miles east of town. i ended up hitting some mud/water/ice that was deeper than i thought and stalled my ranger, re-started and got going again in 4 Low, had some trouble on the way back (atempting to miss the deepest part) and now it will not shift out of low range. the water was deep enough to get into the cab. what do you think is wrong? electrical, computer, or do you think i actualy broke something other than my fog-lights?

fixed my own problem, i read some other fourms and one of them mensioned an obvious solution to a similar porblem, disconect the batery to re-start the system. before i wrote this i disconected the batery to check the fuses (which were fine) but never botherd to try disengaging 4 low becouse it obviously wasnt the fuses. thanks to everyone who replyes to posts with advice becouse you never know how many people it might help.
