Hey,

So I'm getting a 2001 sport 4WD pretty soon and I'm trying to plan out what I should do. So far I've decided on the bodylift, shackles and TT. I found some procomp racing rims that are 15x8 for about $60 each, and since I'm on a pretty small budget that seems good.

I don't know too much about tires though, I'd like to get 33" tires but I don't know what brand. This is gonna be my daily driver as well so should I get a mix of onroad/offroad tires? Any opinions would be good, thanks :)

You can't go wrong with some BFG AT/KOs.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I checked on the site of a local shop of mine and it says they fit on 8.5-11 rims, so does this mean they won't fit on a 15x8?

That depends on the tire with. a 33/ 9.50x 15 would fit fine. Along with sections widths of 10.50 11.50 and likely a 12.50. Any larger and you would want a 15x10. But a 33/12.50x15 would likely fit and would look awesome!

BFG AT's seem to be a consensous pick for good all around tires, but may i suggest since you will be using your rig as a DD, to look into the goodyear duratracs. i just got a set of them on recommendation by another forum member and they are great for roading and for DD. the tread pattern looks mean, they are super sticky, run great in the rain, off road and the most suprising thing is they are amazingly quiet. im running a set off 33's and i have been very happy with them. i was running pro comp mud tires which were awesome on the trails but loud on the road compared to these duratracs.

I can vouch for Hankook Dynapro ATM and Kelly Safari TSR. Both are great tires. The ATM is an amazing all season tire with a nice ride and looks tuff, and the TSR are just all around nasty. Not quite the ride quality as the ATM but still rides great for a aggressive tire.

Thanks for your help guys. :P

The 12.50 BFG's were rated 8.5-11, but I could go with a 10.50 or a 11.50.

Are there any ones that would fit on the stock 16x7 rim or is that just out of the question?

Cheers
