Ok. So I just bought a new Explorer from a family member. It is my second Explorer, the first (a '91) came with an after market CD player. I dont know about the speakers but I am guessing they were stock. The sound was pretty darn good.
In the new explorer it has been family owned....a '93 with 51,000 miles. Since it belonged to my fiance's Grandfather he still had in the factory receiver.
I have purchased a new stereo and will have installed in the next few days. The speakers though have a wierd hum/buzz kinda thingie happenin'.
Here's the dumb question. Will the new stereo help this? Or will only new speakers solve the problem.
