ok ive never had an issue with my explorer, as soon as i got an aftermarket stereo, amp and sub installed it started acting this way. it stutters everyonce in awhile and sometimes just stalls out. i think its an electrical problem but cant be sure, are there any componets under the dash or anything that would cause this all of a sudden. worked perfectly yesterday, two mins after leaving best buy parking lot, it started.
where did they install the sub? and alot of things are tied into the radio that u wouldn't think of... im no pro but if u could provide some more info i can ask a friend of who is a pro audio guy he is the one i send my customers to so what head unit, amp ex?
sony head unit and sony amp only 600w, fosgates for subs two 12, installed at best buy, like i said ive had no issues with my vehicle before, right after the install boom this happens
ok my audio guy said to see if they used a ford approved wiring kit to install the head unit and see where they pulled power for the amp from. he also mentioned that if best buy was responsible u have a limited time to have them look at what might have happened and get them to fix it before its "your problem"
