Sub Distortion

Im having a problem with my 15" Earthquake Magma. It has been hooked up for awhile and never had any problems with it until I unhooked it the last time. Now anytime my stereo is on (even if the volume is on 0) there is a humming coming from the sub and the sub moves in and out rapidly........it still plays but this isnt right. Any ideas?

check your wiring to the sub make sure the + is with the + and same for the -
