just wonderin, I have pioneer 3 ways running through my car and 2 12's, I'm not braggin but I pump out a lot of freaken bass, for some reason it's distortin my mids and highs through the door speakers, I dunno if its the speakers itself that are distorted, or the air flow of the bass thats distortin the mids and highs sound waves. Also I'm running them off of the headunit and I don't have dynomat.

we are covering this matter in the other thread My system. Chances are your door speakers need to be amped and dynamat cant hurt but that will only prevent rattles and such. Easy way to solve the problem also is to not turn up your door speakers as loud and reduce there bass/treble so that they still sound decent but your subs still hit hard.

I would guess you are running the door speakers full range and when youcrank the system the internal amp in the radio is clipping giving you the destortion. You might want to look at a 4 channel amp with crossover.

Concur with what the other guys have said. You have that bass going and it is easy to keep increasing the volume until the door speakers cannot handle what the HU's weak amp is putting out......DISTORTION! Add another amp to power the door speakers.
