Sub problem

Ok first off i have 2 kicker comps and 2 rockford fosgate amps, just so everything is clear.

So the other day my dad took my entire box out of my X to put a door inside it and drive it home, he put it back and hooked it all back up but when both amps are hooked up the subs move like they should but hardly any bass, and when i only hook up one it sounds how it should. Ive tried all combonations with the RCA cables and whenever i hook both up they go quiet, so what gives?

We need a little more info. Do they share power at a distribution block? RCAs split behind deck or at amps? Does one amp feed the other amp with RCA ouputs? I assume that there isn't a mix up with your remote turn on wire? Is there a setting on the amps that got bumped?

share power at a distribution block, RCA split at amp, and im not sure if a setting got bumped, they just seem out of sync

Where are your amps mounted? Also, check the ground, in case you don't know find it, it's probably mounted behind the backseets on the metal. Just Flip em down and lift that little cover up to check it out. If the ground is loose than it could be your problem.

Your wiring may be out of phase, that is the positives/negatives were hooked up backwards to the amp or sub. in most cases this is the problem

if the positive and negatives were hooked up backwards he would be blowing fuses on the amp so i dont think that is it

not if you're talking about speaker wires, which sounds like could be the culprit... or bad rca's? maybe ones crushed?
