Subwoofer -- 6.5 to 8 inch?

Question for yall. Have a blown sub in my 97 EB. Will a 8 inch sub slide in and work with the stock amps. Not looking at any super special thumper sub, just a lower priced decent one. Also is it possible to replace the sub without removing the side panel? Will the screen pop off like the older models? Thanks yall

on mine you had to partially remove the side panel, it makes it way easier if u completly remove it but i didnt have to tool to take off the seat belt starp. and i do not belive that an 8 in will work unless it is a ford one.

I recommend getting an aftermarket amp with your new sub, something small and cheap if your on a budget. It will sound better IMHO.
