Subwoofers won't work, but all connections good...

idk if the "memory feed" is like the power and the radio power wire is the remote or what to tell u the truth. this is confusing.

Your "backup" wire is the same as his "memory feed" It's the HU "memory backup" so that when there's no power to the B+wire, the deck still retains in "memory" all your preset stations and your custom eq settings in the HU. It would be connected to an always-hot circuit. 12vdc supplied to it all the time

Here's the installation/owner's manual for your HU http://www.autotoys.com/pdf/xdmr7700.pdf

Haha, I knew if this thread kept going long enough someone who had a better idea would step in to help. Thanks for the post man, I was feeling so helpless to this question once it started getting more in depth. I understand now what you mean by memory feed, I've just never heard the term, nor have I seen the wire before.

Glad I could help

well im gonna try today and see what happens thanks for all the help. ill tell u what happens.

Just need to wait on my PG v754 to come back in about a month from the shop and then we'll be back to normal :D

Damn dude looks awesome :D

so how you likin the amp? did I make a good reccomendation? haha

did you take your backseats out or somethin?

Try disconnecting the RCA's from the amp. Does the amp stay on or shut off? The amp will turn on by pulling ground from the RCA's which means your ground is not reaching the battery ground. Also, try running a separate ground from the amp the battery to see if that's the problem.

Lol, I won't really be able to feel the full power of it until I get my PG amp back. Right now I just have my little RF P3001 running my mids/highs, so I want to really test it out once I get my good amp back :p: So far I'm definitely pleased though, so it should be a good time, haha. As for my seats, I just have them folded down for now (I only have two back seats due to it being a Sport), but I am seriously debating pulling them out for two reasons. One, reduce the weight, even though it won't be by that much, lol, but two, so that I don't have to cart people around! "Dude can I get a ride?" "Sorry, no seats, find someone else!" Hahaha.

Yeah idk, i gotta have my 4 door haha, but if i were you, id deff. take out the rear seats, and i know what you mean, i hate "can you take me here there anywhere" lol.

I cant wait til i get the money from my taurus, im gonna start fixin the body on my ex up, consisting of A TON of sanding, bondo, and paint hahaha

Haha, yeah I wish I had four doors, but I looove the look of the Sport, man. I prolly will take the seats out this weekend. I tell ya man, it's always money that gets in the way I tell ya, haha.

to the guy having issues a page back :P

you most likely have a bad ground, and when your amp wont shut off...it just keeps playing the noise.

so try hooking up to the amp turn on wire on the deck and checking your grounds.

haha yeah i know, i have a whole list id like to do
-tint the windows
-full exhaust system
-CAI
-new plugs, wires, and all that
-cross drilled rotors, and really good pads
-20's with low-pro's
-new rocker panels
-8000k HID conversion kit
-220 amp alternator
-new drivers seat...hard to replace though, tan eddie bauer leather, full power
i could go on and on for stuff id like to do but then i just get too excited like i can actually do it all haha :D
