OK...so I have to do my rear main seal soon.
I've been getting a shudder going into OD at 42 MPH for a long time now...thinking torque converter.
Getting what I think is a trans pump whine as well.
Could a failure of the pump or torque converter wipe out the transmission at the same time?
I'm thinking I'll change BOTH the pump and TC(50$ for the pump, $200 for the converter) while they are accessible when the rear main seal is done.
What do you think?
