As far as the fuel pump yes I think it will work. I just dont want to have to drop the tank. School + Work - Low Fuel in tank (timing) - no garage = Pain in the ass to install.
Correct me if im wrong but stock is 24? So Im looking at either 30 or 36. Accompanied with a Lighting MAF

In 2001 there is a split year difference. Don't know the exact month, but changes were made, so it depends on what month yours was made. However, I do know this. (I THINK) If your injectors are "Orange" then there 19LBS, if not there the newer 24LBS. Another way that I know of is to look at your pcv. If it has a metal line wrapped around it then it's the newer style. The newer 4.0 SOHC is rated at 210 and the older one is 205. (I have the older one myself)
This might be why you're getting the lean condition and the other guy is not?

I've been reading up on this kit you have. I'm a little concerned about where the IAT valve is re-located (PC of plastic right after the TB). Don't think that's the right location for it to read right and I've found post in the Ranger forums saying a good tuner won't tune them cuss of this. Did this guy say anthing about this problem? Not trying to be negitive here. I really like what the guy has come up with, just may have a few bugs that need to be worked out (If there not already worked out)

You are absolutely right Jake. The IAT should be on the compressed air side of the manifold. The reason for this is that when a supercharger compresses air (especially a roots!) it heats it up a lot too. If the PCM doesn't know that the air actually going into the engine is much hotter than what it previously read then it will tend to keep more spark timing in. That can lead to some BAD things. Relocate that IATS ASAP!
Ok, I just thought of something. Did you mean IATS (Intake Air Temp Sensor) or IAC (Idle Air Control Valve)??? If it is the IAC that you seen then it is supposed to go right around that area.
So I get to thinking tonight ... with the new pump would that change my fuel level readings? not the same tank the pump was designed for = different readings
Jakee - That is the IAC not the intake temp sensor that ur asking about. the IATS is actually located in the maf itself, in the stock setup. so I am in the process of purchasing a new IATS and installing on the compressed side.
time is the biggest factor of my installing the fuel pump. school and work take up alot of it. the two days i do have off of work are after school after 4pm.
Looked at the pictures I took they are BLUE. So guys what do you think 30 or 36lbs injectors? Im going with a stock Lightning MAF and a bigger pump (more than likely the gt pump)

My bad, it's the IAC valve. So where is the other valve located on the stock set-up? I don't see where that buger mounts?
kabukie - I'm really not sure about what size you should go with. I've seen procharger kits for mustangs running as mush 62lb accel injectors but not sure if that's needed? So if you're going with the Lighning MAF I would run what JAH81592 is running cuss he runs the same MAF if I'm not mistaken. That or whatever Rockest suggests.

We really need somone with more experience in force feed applications in here like Rocket Or JAH. I'll get with JAH and ask him to answer your questons....
Just make sure the connectors will work, the first set appeared to have the correct connects for you. (EV1 and EV6) I believe you have the EV1 connectors but I really need Rocket to confirm this. We went thru the same situation with me a couple months ago but I can't remember nothing anymore, guess i'm getting old.
kabukie - Nevermind. I'm a nerd. I see you have a 02 sport. you have the newer set-up. For some reason I thought you had an 01 and the damn thread name says 02, just didn't dawn on me.

A turbocharged engine is going to use more fuel at 6psi than a supercharged one- the supercharged engine is only making 6psi in the highest RPM range where as the turbo can make 6psi over a broad RPM range.

Parts are ordered to install the lightning maf and intake air temp sensor. next things is to purchase the injectors and fuel pump. I want to do the temp sensor and injectors at the same time since Ill have to take off the supercharger to do both. Still need to find out which ones will work. Also found a guy to tune and dyno the X. A guy at the local Jegs recommended him. The whole thing should run me $400
Had a scare the other night. Went out the titty bar with a few friends. Had after hours at a buddies house. Two of the girls that came back wanted to go get some ecstasy so I offered to drive. Drove around then got back to his place and messed around for a few then called it a night. On the way back my X starts making a funny noise under the hood. Literally the first thing that popped into my head was... " oh F*** theres the detonation everyones talkign about..." So I drive it very gently back to my apt. Then next day I get out drive to work. Then the boss asks me to go out on a quick delivery in my car. So I get done dropping something off to a customers apt. I look under the hood... the EGR piping came loose. man did the weight come off my shoulders.
