Cant wait to see pics :)

EE S.C works well, good for 85 ponys over OEM in The v6 SOHC,Just hope you have a super tune, and Non-hyperutectic pistons, ping um, you will crack them, have fun.

It might be fun to see how long a stock bottom end will hold up until poof!

Agreed: proper tune, limited boost, and a very adequate fuel supply (upgraded pump, injectors) and you should be able to have a reasonable longevity, but still less than if non-forced induction

I didnt actually go with the EE kit. I found a much much cheaper route. One night I was typing in random searches into ebay and "supercharger" brought up a used supercharger previously installed on an 01 sport. The kit was originally from a guy named Ron Caster. He makes a kit for the SOHC v6. So I brought the ebay item and the extra pieces that didnt come with it I contacted Ron for. Under a week later Im running roughly 6lbs of boost. It has a beautiful "whine" starting at about 2.5 to 3K. And I can definately feel the difference.
My next plans are:
Upgraded intake tubing.
Custom Tune.
Exhaust.
Ron actually has a site with some of his pictures posted. heres the link
www.candmnovelties.com
I still need to snap a few pictures of the finished product. Then Illl throw them on here.

Anyone know a good place I can go get a tune in Columbus Ohio?

What do you mean poof? How much is a better bottom end?

If I have 72k miles....could I do this? This route is half the price of EE!

Alright now Im getting a check engine light. Everything seems to be running fine. The only thing that might be causeing the light would be that i mounted the EGR valve upside down. Would this cause the check engine light to come on? Also my OBDII port doesnt put out a signal. I went to both autozone and advanced and neither would pull any codes. Heck it didnt even recognize that it was plugged into the port. Anyone else have this problem?

Check out this link for pictures of my car and the supercharger.

Other upgrades that arnt shown on this page was 2in lowered all around and 17in rims wrapped in 275 60 17 kuhmo ecsta stx. Billet attenna and roof rack removal. Ill definately get a picture of that up here soon.

Im jealous man

How much did everything run you installed out the door?

Thanks ...doing what I can on a college student budget.

Because I found it used on ebay the whole thing guages and intake included ran me right around a grand. Normally it would run you about 2.5 grand but that isnt bad compared to the price of the EE xcharger.

so if i buy one your gonna help me install it? nice work, love to see some dyno numbers.

in regards to your OBD 2 port not working: there is a fuse that when it blows will cause the port to not function. Check your manual to see which fuse it is. That is probably your problem right there.

well MI is a bit of a drive... I did it all by myself in 7hrs. That included riding my bike to Lowes to get various parts and tools (3times about 1 mile away) As long as you have at least some clue about cars and the right tools Im sure you could get it done in the same time.
After I got it done tho I definately went out to the bar and threw back a few cold ones.

post some pics of your install, if you can

I would love to buy one of those. I saw the same kit a few months ago and did not want to be the first one to try it. Don't you have to use an old Eaton supercharger or something. I am pretty sure the guy sells the kit for the adaptor to the intake. I did not think he sold the supercharger itself.

Yes you have to buy the Eaton M90 But he has everything else in the kit you would need. I but part of the kit of h21surfer on here and what h21 didnt have a bought off of Ron.
