2010 STXLT 2wd auto V6. Got on the Interstate the other day and at 65 engaged CC. Engine started surging and the ABS light came on and the Anti-skid litup. My ultra scan gave me a Pending P0442. Pulled off and checked all the fuses for the ABS, good. Started up and all warning lights were off. Got back up to 65 and engaged CC, same results. Took if off of CC, still surging; disengaged OD and it smoothed out. Runs alright if I keep OD off. Any possible remedies. I am currently 500mi from home this week, but would like to get home friday before putting it in the shop.

Your "ultra scan" reader is probably not capable of reading transmission or ABS trouble codes. Stored p0442 (Small EVAP Leak) is unlikely related to your overdrive shifting issues. Being 500 miles from home and to be safe, find a service facility with the proper equipment to diagnose and preventing damage caused by driving any further. GL

Thanks Tech & Hawaii, even though it is not what I wanted to hear. Now to find a reputable shop.

Update: Turned out to be the RF Hub that I had RR a week before the trip. Also replaced the Gas Cap and no more fuel emissions code.
