SVT Explorer

I am actually now looking at buying a 2000 F-150 single cab side step and doing things to it. I am looking for the 330cid (5.4L) because I feel like it will give me the most bang for my buck. Light truck with a big motor. The Explorer will probably end up as a toy to work on. I would love to have a Lightning but do you really think the insurance company would let a 20 year old have a supercharged pick up for a cheap premium?

Were did you here that about the Adrenaline? It was at autoshows and they said it was set for 2007

Adrenaline was scrapped quite a while ago, too bad that sucker woulda kicked some booty with the boat behind it

Yeah, it's too bad they scrapped that baby...I know a lot of people who were waiting in line to get it.

Ok now im confused i've read that its been scrapped but im seeing pictures of it from auto shows AFTER it was announced as scrapped....

This sucks, LS was discontinued, Gt was discontinued, GTO was discontinued, Lightning was discontinued, now the Adrenaline was scrapped....what a crappy year

lol, reading some of these posts. dont shame SVT by building an off-roader? just goes to show the age of some of these posts... 2010 ford SVT raptor, the ultimate OFF-ROAD baja fun toy! lol basicly SVT is short for go as fast as you can! WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Haha, I was thinking the exact same thing then I realized how old this thread was. As far as I know SVT had never claimed to be a "Street only" performance devision? They just happened to have made a bunch of Nasty "Street Based" vehicles. Now we've got the Raptor, Finally!

nope... they've never claimed to be street only preformance. in fact... SVT - Special Vehicle Team... thats saying everything from terminator cobras, to lightnings, to raptors if you ask me. they just build vehicles with nice go fast goodies to make them go as fast as they can, with warranty that is, over w/e their ment to go over. (street, strip... sand dunes... lol)
