The Auto Tranny that is in my x is on its last legs to say the lest I knew this when i drop the motor in but dew to funds being low i didn't change the tranny. I want to change it out to a 5 speed for more control over the of fuel or power witch ever one is need at the time. I know that half to run the lines for the clutch and but bolt the clutch its self up to the flywheel. What am not sure is what rote i should take with the four wheel drive. Should I leave the push button or would it be easier to let it go with to a manual change on the floor. The next thing what about the elector part of it i can't see there being a lot there if any. Last but not lest what years can I take a tranny form. The motor in my x is out of a 95 x. Form what I have been reading I should be able to use a tranny out a ranger or x as long as they have 4.0 and are in the same years. Thanks for you help.
