Isn't it dangerous to use a truck without sway bars on the road as a daily driver? Even leaving just one, especially just the rear. I mean, trucks are already prone to roll overs and going day to day without sway bars is just pushing it.

Keep them on the road and disco them when you go offroad. You can make your own quick discos or buy them from Warrior.

i was thinking of disconnecting them cause i heard the truck will ride ALOT smoother, plus the whole shmeal with more flex when offroading.
The question is: How much more dangerous is it?? like will your truck just flop onto its side from going around a curve?
I realize you probably wouldnt be able to fly around a turn at 50mph. But do you guys really think the truck could flip when maintaining somewhat sane driving habits

The rear isn't as important as the front, but without both the truck feels like a boat. Some can handle no bars, but most can't. It's pretty darn dangerous. Disco them and see ;)

ouch, now that you put it like that i wont even bother.
my friend drives a boat (91' caprice classic) and it literally looks like he is the captain of a pirate ship when he drives it.

probably just disconnect the back one see what happens.. and do a quick disconnect on the front how much would it cost to do a qucik disconnect for hte sway bar on the front.

i have had both mine discoed for a while now. It does ride smoother, IMO and i like it better. Yeah you gotta go a lil slower around corners and crosswinds on the interstate suck, but remember your driving a TRUCK not a Ferrari

I disconected the rear, and didn't feel it made much diff when the front was connected so I took it off completely. For the front I made quick disco's and undid them whenever 4x4ing. It actually wasn't that bad w/o both, once you got used to the roll taking a corner. But I left it connected so that I wasn't afraid to let someone else drive it. Now this could be all very different for a 1st gen, or even an older 2nd gen with the weaker front sway bar.

Mine drives great w/out swaybars. I've noticed a little more lean in sharp turns but that's about it. Offroad no swaybars is the only way to go!
