Okay here they are.
Okay here we go
and heres my cat who tried his best to get hair all over my new shiny stuff.
And last but not least heres a good animated .gif
Keep in mind i have what are supposed to be 90/100 watt bulbs ($1.95 ebay) so take that into account on the pics.
i don't have any installation pics sorry i'm a bad person i know but i have very little will power and have new shiny stuff for my truck and not having it installed was to much for my restraint. (which is why i installed them at one in the morning! [that and i work nights])
anyway i think it turned out great! i wasn't sure i would like the full clear look but i do.
now for the complaints: the lights were fairly good quality, in that i could not tell a real difference from stock quality except for a few things
1. the reflective coating on the headlights had a few imperfections but nothing major, just a place or two were the coating didn't adhere but they are negligable.
2. the aiming system was not good it had the same system as the stokers but somehow the knob to aim left and right actually moved it up and down(and after a while the right-angle-transmission on the left and right knob started skipping gears low quality), and the up and down knob (extremly difficult to get a ratchet on, actually impossible on passenger side, but thats ford design at fault on that. another ford complaint is WHY are the aim knobs 5/32nd's size!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?) the up and down knob didn't move anything.
if i were you a would steal the aiming system off of the stocks before putting them in but i managed to get it pretty close so no biggie.
3. i had to "reposition"(bend with pliers) the bulb shields inside the headlight housing because they were pointed a little off-kilter. which is the reason for the pliers in the early pics. it was fairly easy with needle nose you just have to be careful.
also you may notice in some of the pics on the front of the headlight it says
"DEPO" which is a brand i've heard before i think i have seen it on other headlights. and some numbers and then "SEA" and "DOT' so they are DOT approved, no POlice troubles. and the sae suggest the may have been made in the usa cause thats the us standard measurement logo for example 5/32nd's is a sae measurement. but that could be wrong.
overall i am pleased with my 100 dollars i would recomend to any one who wants a cheap box of shiny stuff for there x.
And believe it or not that cat is older than ME!
