Use a very sharp bit. Also put some masking tape over the area to be drilled. Drill slow.

Good luck.....

thanks aldive....
also, what does puttin masking tape over the drilling area do?

I gotta switch for my fog lights right above the mirror switch. It came with 3M double sided tape. Works just great. You can sort of see a pic of it on my x site under interior pics. Click on it in my sig. Tape will help keep the plastic from cracking when you drill.

It CAN help in preventing splitting.

Would probably be easier to use a Dremel to cut the hole, if you have a Dremel that is.
