I run Royal Purple products on my Trans Am and Firebird and had some extra laying around so I decided that the truck will also get it.
The front and rear differential fluid and transfer case fluid were original from the factory
So, it got RP motor oil, RP front diff fluid, RP rear diff fluid, and RP transfer case fluid. I have RP radiator additive in the shed - once it gets warmer I'll add that in.
I still have to do RP tranny fluid - I'll wait till the summer.
Acceleration seems to have improved slightly. Rolling resistance seems to have decreased - specifically I mean if I go to a stretch of road, get to 40 mph and pop it in neutral... it seems to go a further distance than before.
Fuel economy increased also.
Would I reccomend it - well... it is kinda expensive but the diff fluid n transfer case fluid will last a long time - it's just the oil that will need to be regularly done.... so yes, I would reccomend it
