I was replacing my rear bumper and need to switch the brackets from the old to the new. The problem is that when I try to unscrew the longer bolts, both the bolt and the nut move at the same time making it impossible to take off. The other end of the bolt opposite the nut is just a round cap so I can't use a wrench to make the bolt stop rotating. Anyone know how to take the nuts off???
so he let me use his manly man vice grips and they do the trick. Auughhh., it's just a PITA to switch the brackets after they've rusted in place!!! anyway, I've gone through the process of changing a rear bumper so if anyone needs a tip feel free to ask!!
