i have got a 92 ex with manaul hubs and am considering purchasing a 93 with auto hubs.
the 93 has been in an accident but is still in great shape and i figure i could make an excellent truck out of the 2. the thing is the 93 with the auto hubs has the front left hub smashed. i was figuring i could possibly take the front hubs of mine and put them on the 93. is that all there is to it ?
or is it pretty in depth ?
please advise
thanks

don't know about the switch you're thinking about, but if you end up parting one of the trucks I need a shift motor.........

If I understand your questions correctly... You want to know if the Manual hubs on your '92 can be placed on the '93...

The answer to that question is yes... You need to take the Hub and the manual conversion part off the '92 to put them on the '93 (its basically the hub and the hex nuts, which aren't hex shaped on the manual)..

is that it?

nothing else in depth or need to purchase anything ?

If you have a vehicle with auto hubs and buy manual hubs you buy the hubs and the manual conversion kit. (new nuts)..

Since you already have manuals on the other vehicle and are going to move them to a 2nd vehicle you just move the hubs/nuts from the vehicle with manual hubs to the vehicle with auto hubs... Nothing to buy..

I would be concerned that there is other damage to the rotor/wheel bearing/spindle/axle shaft, if the outer hub was smashed up. If all is well, then the parts will transfer straight over.
