Sync upgrade?

I believe my 15 sport is at Sync 2.. it is a free upgrade to go in and ask the dealer to do it under warranty I just over a year old and have 28k on the bird.

Are you referring to upgrading to the latest MFT version of 3.8? If so, that has been posted many times already.

I am talking about the software in my truck. Ok so if it has been posted so many times perhaps you can share the answer or link?
there are many threads about it.. everyone has different twist..

I'm not sure what you mean by 'answer'. I didn't see a question, just a statement saying "it is a free upgrade to go in and ask the dealer to do it under warranty...."

If your software is not the latest version, 3.8.1, then yes it is free to have the dealer do the upgrade. You can check on the owner site, owner.ford.com.
