i have a 92 explorer, and i noticed the prob 1 weeks ago, while i was driving down the road, i took a corner, and the tach started bouncing and the truck started jerkin like it wanted to die, then i gased it all the way, and it still jerked then died, i waited 30 mins, truck would not start, it would crank over, but nothing,
so i had it towed to my house, and when we got it off the truck, it started right up...
so i was kinda dumb founded, so then the next day i drove it to work, when i was driving home it died again, so i had it towed to my house again, thank god for free towing, i replaced the fuel filter, and then the truck started, the pump was running fine, so i thought i was golden, drove it that night to my GF place, dies on the way there, had it towed to the shop, the next day, he couldnt find anything wrong with it, it started up, no codes, drove fine,so i was alright,I un did the tire cap thing on the fuel rail, and there was a lil air, then put it back on, so i know im getting gas, i cleaned my injector's, and i am still having the same problom, ansd its driving me up a wall,
1-this is the only thing i can think of :
2-the roll reply on the passenger side firewall, might be going out, causing it to turn the pump off, :roll: (incase of truck roll)
3-the pump is going bad
4-the black thing in the engine bay, that sits behind the battery, and has a harness on it between headlight and back side of battery ( dont know what its called)
Maybe someone on here is or has had the same prob, i dont wanna pay some idiot lots of money for something that doesnt need to be done, or myself,
